You know the saying – if you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll probably end up somewhere else. With that in mind, preparing for success is as simple as creating a strategic communications plan that matches your organizations’ goals.
So, do you have a strategic communications plan? Maybe you don’t have the staff to complete a strategic communications plan. Maybe they are so busy on day-to-day activities that they just don’t have the time. Or, maybe, you’re working with an agency and you want to give them a strong path to follow. In any situation, you can rely on Alliance Communications to work with you to create a solid, strategic communications plan that will encompass your organization’s goals and how to meet them through communications.
Strategic Communications Plans include:
an analysis of your competition
an overview of the current state of your industry
an analysis of your target audience
market research and trends
recommendations for cost-effectively reaching your audience
PR communications plan
branding
identification of objectives, strategies and tactics to meet organizational goals
budget and timeline for execution.
Armed with this plan, an in-house person, staff or agency or freelancer could execute your initiatives to your pre-planned specifications.
You can create a communications plan at any time during the year for any period of time, usually six months to one year at a time is best. The project varies in length due to the uniqueness of each organization’s goals and needs, but on average, you can have a strategic communications plan in place within 45 days. A minimum of two days meeting/interviewing key personnel is required to successfully create this plan. We will complete and sign a confidentiality agreement upon commencement.
